The
rules are so simple, you can follow them while you're drunk... which is
good, because some of you probably are. Right now, if you don't
have your speakers muted, you should be hearing a series of movie quotes
playing. There are a total of 28 of them, and each is seperated by
three chimes. Don't worry, if you've already missed a few while
you've been admiring this awesome webpage, they'll keep playing over and
over as long as you're on this page. All you have to do is
correctly identify all 28 movies and then send an e-mail to me (Trashy
Transvestite) via the provided link below. SIMPLE!! |

Reason (i.e. what you get for your effort): |

You're
doing this because the first hasher to get all 28 correct gets
completely FREE rego to the Carolina Trash 1200th trail / Beer Mile
weekend AND eats free from the grill all weekend long. Also, it's
been recently demonstrated that we have a lot of hashers who think
they're good at movie quotes, so why not see just how good we are in
reality, eh? But one small note... there's only one free rego, so
playing as a team may not be your best option. |

A
few helpful hints: |
|
|
|
1)
There are 28 quotes, and they come from 28 DIFFERENT movies.
2) Every single one of these movies is from the 80's.
3) Many different genres of movies are represented.
4) In the interest of fairness, I did NOT pick obscure movies.
Believe me, I really wanted to use
The Legend of Billie Jean, but I think I may be
the only person that ever saw that movie.
5) And since you now know one movie I didn't use, I'll go ahead
and tell you that I didn't use
Howard the Duck, St. Elmo's Fire, One Crazy
Summer, The Fly, Red Dawn, The Goonies, ET,
Jumping Jack Flash, Nightmare on Elm Street,
Big, Back To School, or The Toy either. I tried
to find quotes from all those, but the internet
does have limitations. But now you understand
how broad the spectrum is.
6) The quotes are NOT obscure quotes. If you've seen the
movie, you probably know the quote.
7) MANY of the quotes have pretty blatant clues in them.
Think context if you're stuck.
8) GOOD LUCK!! Do try and get some work done today, for
those of you at work!!
